I find it quite tricky to replace the filter. If you try and replace it wearing thin gloves the filter will stick to the gloves. I question how safe it is to replace the filter without contaminating the new filter or the mask itself. Once the filter is properly installed the mask is comfortable to wear. It is important to note that the filter must be unfolded in order to insert it into the mask. I didn't realize this at first. Maybe the instructions on the package tell you this, but they are in Chinese.
